FOX RX+™ Micron Bite Alarm Set, 2+1

With improvements over the previous NTX-R range, the Fox RX+ Micron is at the top of its class when it comes to bite indication sensitivity. The alarm comes packed with a multitude of features, including a waterproof case that protects against weather and mechanical shocks, multi-color four-LED lights, and an ergonomic volume control with eight different levels.

Building on the NTX-R system features, the Micron RX+ alarm benefits from a deeper sound without an increase in actual pitch, manual day and night mode selection, and a wider performance range when used with the RX receiver.

Fox Micron RX+™ Alarm:

The RX+ Micron alarm unit is equipped with twin multi-color LEDs offering six available colors: red, green, blue, orange, violet, and white. The LED color can be changed using the left button on the back of the alarm, and the adjustable LED brightness can be altered using another button on the back. There is a two-mode toggle switch – day mode and night mode. In night mode, both LEDs glow faintly in the chosen color.

With indexed ergonomic control, the Micron RX+ alarm offers eight volume settings, the lowest being completely silent. The indexed ergonomic control also works for tone with eight different tone settings.

The alarm also features a D-TEC Plus detection system, a Tru-Run™ CNC machined spool, and indexed economical control for intelligent sensitivity with see-saw elimination. There are eight different sensitivity settings offering a wider sensitivity range, and the alarm is three times more sensitive than the NTX-R.

Low battery warning indicates batteries are at minimum when LEDs turn cyan, and deeper ears hold your rod firmly in position. Supplied with two compression wash options – rigid and soft with a larger gap around the spool, improving drainage. This greatly reduces the chances of spool freezing in extreme cold conditions. The range test function, activated by switching the alarm off and on within one second, allows the user to check if the RX+ receiver is picking up the RX+ alarm head.

RX Receiver:

The receiver has stronger radio performance with ultra-long-range coverage. It features a standalone design and on/off volume control, with the lowest volume setting being completely silent. Larger LED windows are visible from both the front and top of the receiver, and the easy RX+ Micron pairing allows you to link up to eight alarms on a single receiver.

The "bivvy" light function will only activate if three beeps are received in quick succession. The receiver LEDs match the alarm head LEDs by syncing colors.

The receiver also provides battery life indicators. When powered on, four green LEDs indicate full charge. Three green LEDs indicate batteries are in use but do not need replacement, and two orange LEDs show batteries are low. A red LED indicates batteries are drained and must be replaced. Other useful features include vibration alert and anti-theft alarm. Micron RX+ alert – clear in darkness and daylight.

"Bivvy" Functions:

• When the "Bivvy" light feature is enabled via the rear switch, it will operate as follows:
• Indicator lights will dim slightly so as not to emit too much light while the "Bivvy" light is active;
• The "Bivvy" light will only activate if three bite triggers are received in quick succession to prevent false bites;
• The "Bivvy" light will ramp up to full brightness and remain on while the alarm continues to send trigger signals. The light will dim to off within 5 seconds after triggering stops, provided no further signals are received.
