The ESP Wrap Sticks Rod Kit for Measuring Fishing Distance consists of two stainless steel rods and three numbered markers, ideal for precise positioning at a calculated distance (usually between 3 and 4 meters). The fishing distance is measured by wrapping the line between the two supports and counting the turns made. For example, to fish at 120 meters, with the pegs placed 3 meters apart, the line must be wrapped 40 times and secured in the clip.

The rods have an 8mm diameter and feature Dayglow acrylic caps for increased visibility. They are stored in a durable braided pouch and are manufactured to high standards at the ESP factory in Oxford. The markers are engraved numerically to indicate rod 1, 2, and 3, and the rods have special grooves that prevent line slipping and tangling when using braided line.
