EnergoTeam Wizard Monster 10000 Catfish Reel

The EnergoTeam Wizard Monster 10000 is a high-capacity reel developed specifically for catfish fishing, where mechanical strength, cranking power and reliability are essential. Part of the Wizard Catfish Division range, it stands out for its robust metal construction and gearing designed to withstand the intense pressure of fighting large fish. Its 10000 size and generous spool capacity make it well suited to static fishing from the bank or a boat, including when using thick-diameter braided lines.

The metal body provides the rigidity and stability needed to keep the gears working under load, while the carbon rotor helps reduce the weight of the moving components. The mechanism features 12 bearings in a 10+2 configuration, positioned at key points in the drive system for smooth, consistent operation. The 4.4:1 gear ratio delivers high cranking power, essential for retrieving heavy rigs and controlling powerful catfish.

The aluminium spool holds 320m of 0.46mm line, allowing you to use thick lines while keeping plenty in reserve for demanding fights. The front drag lets you adjust resistance as line is released, helping you control fish during powerful runs. This setup is suited to long-range fishing and static techniques that call for robust tackle.

The CNC Super Hard power handle is designed to transfer power efficiently to the retrieve mechanism, while the oversized knob provides a firm, comfortable grip. Its solid construction and weight of 607g reflect the reel’s focus on static catfish fishing, where strength and mechanical power take priority over low weight. The EnergoTeam Wizard Monster 10000 is a great choice for anglers targeting large catfish in demanding fishing conditions.
