The EnergoTeam C5 is a fixed float with an elongated drop-shaped float made of polyurethane, and the keel (stem) made of fiberglass. The detachable plastic antenna is painted in fluorescent colors, and can be replaced with a starlet if needed, which helps with night fishing. This float has a body that tapers towards the antenna and is recommended for sessions where the fish are picky, as the bites are very subtle, especially on the drop.

The keel is fixed on the main line using silicone/plastic varnishes (the longer the stem, the more guiding varnishes should be applied). A great advantage of floats with detachable antennas is that in cases of oversized gear, either in the rod holder or transport box, the antenna can be detached, shortening the float’s size. It is actually advisable in some situations to keep the antennas separate and attach them at the water's edge.
