The Flyer 175 is a sinking lure designed based on the Tide-Minnow Slim 175, with special attention given to its casting capabilities. This lure shines in the toughest weather conditions, as its large body size creates exceptional distance-casting ability and attracts fish effectively.

The mobile weight was changed from steel balls to higher-density tungsten balls. By doing this, the casting distance was extended compared to the original model, which already had a reputation for being very easy to cast. With the increased weight, the lip was redesigned to prevent a substantial change in the action's response. Compared to the original model, this lure features a stronger "wobble & roll" action. A wider lip catches more water, making the body heavier and able to swim sufficiently even in tough conditions.
