Korda Basix Grey Aluminium Distance Sticks are specially designed pegs for measuring your fishing distance as easily and precisely as possible, ensuring you can return repeatedly to the same spot with your rods and spod. The sticks feature stainless steel tips for easy insertion into the ground and include a green cord exactly 12ft (3.66m) long, allowing you to set the exact same distance every time. The metal "T-Bar" serves as a lever to apply greater force when screwing the supports into the soil.

The Basix sticks are made from anodized grey aluminium and each comes with a fluorescent green head on top for enhanced visibility—especially in low light conditions or when using head torches at night. The caps can be unscrewed to be stored inside, ensuring they won’t get lost when not in use. The advantage of accurately measuring your fishing distance becomes clear when you want to have another rod ready at the chosen distance, or when you need to free the line from the reel clip during a fight, or if you need to remake your rig.
