Delphin Theox Reel

Delphin Theox Reel

Delphin THEOX is a reel specially designed for feeder fishing, with an elegant design and compact dimensions. The model is equipped with 6 (5+1) bearings, which ensure smooth and quiet operation. The reliable drive mechanism, with a gear ratio of 5.1:1, gives confidence during the fight with fish and also allows quick retrieval of the rig for re-casting, making fishing more efficient.

The spool of this reel stands out not only for its design but also for its technical parameters. A slightly shallow but sufficiently wide spool allows precise line lay and minimizes friction. Line release is therefore very smooth, which is especially appreciated on accurate long casts. In addition, the spool features a top lip that reduces friction during casting, delivering longer casts. Since precision is essential in feeder fishing, the spool is equipped with two metal line clips. Below the spool there is a plastic protector that prevents accidental line fouling under the spool during casting or retrieval.

The reel is equipped with an adjustable front drag, allowing precise adjustment of braking force depending on the conditions during the fight with fish. The metal handle is attached to the reel body using Screw-In technology, meaning it is screwed directly into the body, eliminating any unwanted play. For maximum comfort, the handle is fitted with a rubberized knob that fits perfectly in the hand.

Replacement shallow spools can be purchased here.
