Delphin Mamut NXT is the modernized successor to one of the most respected heavy-duty reels, renowned for its durability in catfish fishing and for its ability to hold bait at extreme distances in carp fishing. The new model preserves the original robustness while bringing major improvements to the internal mechanisms, turning it into a trusted tool for tackling trophy fish.

The reel’s internals have been completely redesigned and are fitted with a new gear system based on a stainless steel main shaft, significantly increasing durability under load. The 3.8:1 gear ratio and the 7 stainless steel bearings ensure smooth, quiet and stable operation even under intensive use. The optimized rotor guarantees precise line lay for mono or braid, whether the reel is used for long casts or fighting massive fish.

The Power Drag braking system, with carbon discs and increased diameter, delivers an impressive force of up to 20kg with instant reaction to aggressive runs. The deep metal spool (DP) with very high capacity is ideal for heavy catfish lines or for large amounts of line required for distance baiting. The robust metal handle, complemented by an ergonomic rubber knob, provides excellent control and maximum power transfer.
