The alarm casing is made of rigid ABS plastic, ensuring resistance against mechanical damage and preventing water ingress. Each alarm can be switched using a lever between day and night mode. In night mode, the LED position light turns on, allowing you to always know the location of your rods. The tone (T button) and sensitivity within the 1-9cm range (S button) offer five selectable options based on your preferences. For repeated bites, you will be alerted with a different tone.

The volume can also be set to five different levels, with level 0 being silent mode. The undeniable motto of FORZA alarms is the option to choose between seven LED signal light colors. If you want a change, simply select another color using the rotary switch "C (colour)", so you don’t need to buy a new alarm.

At the bottom, there is a socket for connecting the 2.5mm jack plug of the hanger or swinger. Additionally, each alarm comes with a pair of detachable snag ears (stabilizing ears), which are part of the package.
