Strong Carp is a monofilament line made from CPA 6.6 material. Strong CARP is probably the strongest line on the professional market, designed specifically for the needs of carp anglers. The line’s knot strength and stretch are always a compromise during the manufacturing process. Strong CARP is definitely a tougher line (reduced stretch), but with incredible knot strength. The line contains no surface wear-resistant coatings, as applying such layers during manufacturing significantly reduces its strength.

NOTE: The limiting factor for the line's strength is the knot. If you notice an unwanted knot on the line, immediately cut the line up to the knot and retie the end rig. The way you tie the knot on the line significantly affects its strength. Therefore, tighten the knot slowly. Thoroughly wet the spot where you tie the knot or coat it with the FIN KNOT LOY preparation (a product that increases knot strength).
