Deeper DownScan Undervision Sonar Module for Deeper QUEST Bait Boat

Deeper DownScan Undervision is an optional sonar module specially developed for the Deeper QUEST bait boat. It complements the boat's CHIRP sonar with a scanning technology dedicated to producing much more detailed images of structures, objects and the bottom profile beneath the boat. This helps the angler more easily assess the area where they plan to bait and place their rig, and identify bottom features that can influence the choice of fishing spot.

The patented Undervision technology is the foundation of the DownScan system and is focused on clearly depicting underwater structure. Unlike a traditional sonar image, it highlights shapes and objects on the bottom so they are easier to recognize and interpret. Ledges, depressions, submerged structures and other elements beneath the bait boat can thus be examined in detail before baiting and deploying the rig.

One advantage of the Deeper QUEST system is the ability to use both scanning technologies depending on the information needed. The CHIRP sonar can be used to explore the water column, locate fish and get a general overview of the area, while DownScan Undervision emphasizes the details of the structure beneath the boat. Combining data from both methods helps build a more precise understanding of the fishing spot.

DownScan Undervision is integrated with the Deeper QUEST system and can be used together with the Fish Deeper app and the boat’s mapping functions. The module is useful both for exploring unfamiliar waters and for closely inspecting already-mapped areas before choosing the point to place your rig.

The upgrade also includes a dedicated green handle for the Deeper QUEST, which can replace the standard black handle. In addition to visually distinguishing a boat equipped with DownScan, the package contains the accessories required for installing and maintaining the module.
