Daiwa Revros LT Reel

Thanks to the LT (LIGHT and TOUGH) concept, the Revros LT features a compact DS5 graphite body, greatly improving the strength-to-weight ratio while providing a solid frame for the powerful gearing. The aluminum ABS long cast spool reduces friction during casting and optimizes casting performance, eliminating the risk of line loops.

The Tough Digigear system ensures smooth operation, delivering instant power transmission during retrieval and increased durability, making this reel a reliable companion even during the most active fishing sessions, with hundreds of retrieves and casts per day. The ATD front drag engages immediately, transitioning to the preset drag force in a fraction of a second, preventing line breakage during the fight.

Sealed bearings (4 ball bearings and one roller bearing on the handle) prevent water and dirt from entering the spool mechanism, while the Air Bail (the reel’s pickup arm) is hollow inside, making it both lightweight and sturdy. The Air Rotor (15% lighter than most standard models) provides perfect line lay on the spool and reduces vibrations thanks to its lowered center of gravity. The special construction of the Twist Buster II roller prevents line twist and breakage around the pickup wire.

NOTE: The C index (compact body) marks models where the reel body is smaller, i.e., more compact compared to the standard size specified. For example, 3000-C means the reel has a 2500-sized body with a 3000-sized spool.

Tough DigiGear® - a digitally-developed gear system designed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion housed in the spool body transmits handle power directly to the rotor smoothly and extremely efficiently. The size of the drive gear, durability, gear angle, shape, and tooth surface allow for gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and extremely long life.

ATD™ (Automatic Drag System) - this drag system excels with a much smoother transition between drag intervals, making it perfectly suited for use with braided lines. The ATD drag engages immediately from the start, transitioning to the preset drag force in a fraction of a second, preventing sudden line breakage.

Air Rotor® - the arced rotor (15% lighter than most standard models) offers perfect line lay on the spool and reduces vibrations thanks to the lowered center of gravity.

AirBail® - the reel’s pickup arm is hollow, making it strong, lightweight, and durable. Its special construction prevents line twist around the pickup wire.

Twist Buster® II - a sophisticated system (patent no. EP0876760B1) that reduces line twist to a minimum. The latest Twist Buster II system significantly reduces friction between the line and roller, preventing breakage.
