The Prorex V LT New model is based on DAIWA's new LT (Light & Tough) concept. The new LT reels are much lighter, more durable, and at the same time, offer more power during retrieval than previous models. The reel body dimensions have been reduced while the retrieval power is even enhanced by the new pinion construction. The DS5 torsion-resistant body provides a secure housing for the gears and contributes to the reel's reduced weight.

The Air-Rotor combined with the ABS Long Cast spool and Twist Buster II line roller ensures optimal line lay without twisting. The Tough Digigear gearing inside the reel body offers optimal power transmission and smooth, durable operation. The ATD drag system responds instantly, providing a measurable advantage during fish fights, as well as extra pulling power—especially when using thin lines.
