The Luvias LT is a reel with an elegant "Concept LT" (Light & Tough) design, built around a Zaion® "Monocoque Body" frame that provides reduced weight for each component and superior durability under extreme conditions. Additionally, the rotor made from Zaion® and designed as a single piece has become more rigid and durable. To seal the rotor inside the housing, the seal is made from a magnetic oil called MagSealed. This oil is frozen in a magnetic field and prevents water and dust from entering the mechanism.

The "Monocoque Body" allows more space for the Tough DigiGear pinion, whose size has increased by 7% compared to the previous model. This development not only improves durability but also creates a smoother rotation with less effort. To optimize casting performance, the reel is equipped with an ABS Long Cast (LC-ABS) spool. The ATD™ braking system patented by Daiwa engineers ensures perfect front brake control with a redesigned butterfly and a larger diameter.

"Monocoque Body" - The Monohull structure has an aluminum frame designed to resist twisting and bending while refining and optimizing internal space for pinion gears and gear wheels. With space savings, the size of the gear system in relation to the frame volume was extended to technical limits, so now the rotor occupies 85% of the total space inside the Monohull frame. This technology optimizes the advantages of the Concept LT, both in terms of weight reduction and power.

Zaion® Body / Rotor - is an incredibly strong and lightweight material, ideal for building housings or rotors. Zaion is made from processing high-density carbon fibers. Zaion’s strength is approximately equal to magnesium and is twice as strong as nylon/ABS; its weight is 20% lighter than nylon/ABS and 50% lighter than aluminum.

"MagSealed Technology" - Sealing the rotor is a challenge Daiwa was able to meet in 2010 and has optimized year after year. Slow Cross Wrap® - is a special cross-form line lay technology on the spool. This technology significantly reduces tangles around the axis. Additionally, the unique winding means more coils are taken on the spool, resulting in extreme casting distances.

Tough DigiGear® - a digitally developed gear system designed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion, integrated into the spool housing, transmits the handle’s power directly to the rotor, smoothly and extremely efficiently. The size of the main gear, strength and angle of the gears, shape and surface of the gear teeth allow the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and extremely long durability.

Twist Buster® II - a sophisticated system (patent no. EP0876760B1) that minimizes line twist. The latest Twist Buster II system significantly reduces friction between the line and the roller, preventing line breakage.

Infinite Anti-Reverse® - a roller bearing that allows the rotor to rotate in only one direction. Only the highest quality steel parts with the narrowest tolerances are used here.
