Following the overwhelming success of the new Daiwa LT BR reels, a new BR reel has now been launched, optimized in terms of technical features. The one-touch folding handle, made of aluminum, can be easily folded, allowing you to transport the fully equipped rod in a case. The long cast ABS aluminum spool and the Slow Cross Wrap™ line lay system ensure even distribution of coils and significantly reduced friction. The durable pick-up wire, Infinite Anti-Reverse® system, and CNC-machined aluminum handle complete the reel’s features.

The ATD drag system operates without resistance from the start and provides the sensitivity needed for distant strikes, handling critical situations during the fight with the fish. Tough Digigear ensures smooth operation, exceptional durability, instant power transmission during retrieval, and increased endurance, making this reel model a reliable companion even for the most active fishing sessions with dozens of retrieves and casts per day.

LT (LIGHT and TOUGH) - Daiwa technology that results in reels with reduced dimensions, making them stronger than ever. Daiwa engineers aimed to eliminate unnecessary weight without compromising power, maintaining the same line capacity on the spool. Redesigned with a minimalist profile and tougher Digigear gearing, all these aspects make LT the lightest and most durable Daiwa reel.

Tough DigiGear® - gear system digitally developed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion integrated into the spool housing transmits handle power directly to the rotor, smoothly and extremely efficiently. The size of the drive gear, durability and gear angles, the shape and surface of the gear teeth allow for the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and extremely long service life.

ATD™ (Automatic Drag System) - the drag system excels with a much smoother transition between drag intervals and, as a result, is perfectly suited for use with braided lines. With ATD, the drag starts immediately from the beginning, and the transition to the preset drag force happens in a fraction of a second, preventing line breakage from shock.

Air Rotor® - the curved rotor (15% lighter than most standard models) offers perfect line lay on the spool and eliminates vibrations due to the lowered center of gravity.
