By utilizing the new Zaion V material, Daiwa engineers have succeeded in designing the latest generation of the highly successful Fuego LT series, significantly stronger and lighter than ever. The Zaion material is distortion-resistant, offers significantly improved hardness, and reduces weight compared to the previous model. Using this material, the gearing is securely housed in the reel's body, ensuring smooth operation. MagSealed technology reliably prevents saltwater and dirt particles from entering through the shaft, contributing to a considerably longer lifespan of the reel.

The Tough Digigear system ensures smooth operation, is highly durable, provides instant power transmission during retrieval, and enhances endurance, making this reel model a reliable companion even for the most active fishing sessions, with hundreds of retrieves and casts a day. The ATD braking system guarantees smooth operation without initial resistance and offers optimized drag power, while also providing high sensitivity. Thanks to the LT (Light & Tough) design combined with the Tough Digigear® gearing, the retrieval power and power transmission are higher, leading to an increased lifespan.

The Cross Wrap® technology precisely lays the line on the spool and reduces the risk of accidental tangles. The Air Bail® pick-up arm is hollow, making it very strong, lightweight, and durable. The latest Twist Buster II system significantly reduces friction between the line and the roller, preventing line breakage. The CNC-machined aluminum handle is fixed directly to the spool body, and the Hi-Grip knob is very pleasant to the touch even with wet fingers.

LT (LIGHT and TOUGH) - Daiwa technology that translates into reduced dimensions for the reels, making them stronger than ever. Daiwa engineers aimed to eliminate unnecessary weight without sacrificing strength, maintaining the same line capacity on the spool. Redesigned with a minimalist profile, a tougher Digigear gearing, all this makes the LT the lightest and most durable Daiwa reel.

Zaion® - a special material created by Daiwa engineers, characterized by reduced weight and increased durability. It is a solid "High Density" carbon material designed for high performance and maximum impact resistance (used for making both housings and rotors). Thanks to Zaion, a lightweight reel body can be constructed that can withstand the forces of the gearing. The strength of Zaion is equivalent to magnesium and is 20% stronger than the nylon/ABS material used by the majority of manufacturers for reel housings. Zaion is 50% lighter than aluminum.

ATD™ (Automatic Drag System) - the braking system excels due to a much gentler transition between brake settings, making it perfectly suitable for using braided lines. With ATD, braking starts immediately, right from the beginning, and the transition to the preset drag force occurs in a fraction of a second, thus eliminating line breakage during shock.

Cross Wrap® - a special technology for cross-layering the line on the spool. This technology ensures a significant reduction in tangles around the axis. Additionally, the unique wrapping means that more line wraps are brought onto the spool, resulting in extreme casting distances.

Tough DigiGear® - a digitally developed gear train designed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion housed in the spool casing transmits the handle's power directly to the rotor, smoothly and extremely efficiently. The size of the drive wheel, its durability, the gearing angle, shape, and surface of the gear teeth allow the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and an extremely long lifespan.

AirBail® - the reel's pick-up arm is hollow and therefore strong, lightweight, and durable. The special construction prevents the line from twisting around the pick-up wire.

Twist Buster® II - a sophisticated system (patent no. EP0876760B1) that minimizes line twist to a minimum. The latest Twist Buster II system significantly reduces friction between the line and the roller, preventing line breakage.

Infinite Anti-Reverse® - a roller bearing that allows the rotor to rotate in one direction only. Only the highest quality steel parts are used here, with the narrowest tolerances.
