Freams LT (Light & Tough) is a top-tier reel from Daiwa, combining exclusive Japanese technologies with the lightweight and sensitivity of the LT concept. The MagSealed® construction prevents water and dirt particles from entering around the shaft, ensuring a long lifespan for the gear with smooth and consistent operation. The newly integrated ATD braking system on the Freams LT reel provides increased drag power, instant performance, and optimal control without startup resistance - ideal for use with thin lines during fish playing.

Thanks to a new carbon fiber material used for the body, Daiwa engineers have significantly reduced the reel's weight, designing a distortion-resistant housing. The new Tough DigiGear, previously exclusive to much more expensive reels, equips the Freams LT series with enhanced power transmission, extended durability, and flawless operation. Freams reels are designed for freshwater fishing, as well as sea trout fishing (but can also be used effectively for cod and black cod jigging).
