The Emblem 45 SCW QD SD (Super Deep) is a Big Pitt reel specially designed for anglers who want to achieve extreme casting distances (the spool travel is an ultra-long 45mm). The ultra long cast aluminum spool and Slow Cross Wrap™ line lay system ensure even line distribution and greatly reduced friction, while the round HIP clip protects the line, proving especially useful when the baiting area must be reached with precision. The reel comes with an aluminum spare spool that holds 530m of 0.35mm monofilament line.

The "QD" Quick Drag front drag with carbon discs can be switched from tight to fully free with a single full turn of the knob. The Digigear II shaft and gears provide optimal power transmission and immense strength, very useful when rigs need to be frequently recovered as well as during battles with large fish. The strong pick-up wire, Twist Buster® II roller that prevents accidental line breakage, Infinite Anti-Reverse® system, and CNC-machined aluminum handle complete the reel's features. The soft-touch knob fits perfectly in the angler's palm.

Silent Oscillation® System - thanks to the special mounting and guiding of the shaft lift gears, Daiwa engineers have achieved a significant smoothing of power transmission compared to conventional systems with similar designs. Silent shaft lift - less noise, precise operation, and extreme durability.

Slow Cross Wrap® - a special cross-pattern line lay technology on the spool. This technology significantly reduces line tangles around the shaft. Additionally, the unique winding means more line wraps are taken on the spool, translating into extreme casting distances.

Tough DigiGear® - a digitally developed gear system designed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion housed inside the spool transmits the handle's power directly to the rotor, smoothly and very efficiently. The size of the drive gear, strength and gear angles, tooth shape, and surface allow for the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and an extremely long lifespan.

Twist Buster® II - an advanced system (patent no. EP0876760B1) that reduces line twist to a minimum. The newest Twist Buster II system significantly decreases friction between the line and roller, preventing breakage.

Infinite Anti-Reverse® - a roller bearing that allows one-way rotor rotation only. Only the highest quality steel parts with the tightest tolerances are used here.
