The Emblem 45 SCW QD OT (One Touch) is built almost identically to the Emblem 45 SCW QD version but stands out with its retro design, One-Touch folding handle, ultra long-cast gold spool, and wooden knob button. It is a Big Pit reel specially designed for anglers who want to cast extreme distances (the spool stroke is an ultra-long 45mm). The Slow Cross Wrap line lay system ensures even distribution of the coils with significantly reduced friction, and the round HIP clip protects the line, which is very useful when the bait area must be reached precisely. The reel comes with an extra aluminum spool that holds 530m of 0.35mm monofilament line.

The "QD" Quick Drag front drag system with carbon discs can be switched from tight to fully free with a single full rotation of the star drag. The aluminum shaft and Digigear II gears provide optimal power transmission and immense strength, very useful when rigs need to be frequently retrieved as well as during fights with large fish. The sturdy pick-up wire, Twist Buster® II roller that prevents accidental line breakage, Infinite Anti-Reverse® system, and CNC-machined aluminum handle complete the reel's features. The soft touch knob button fits perfectly in the angler’s palm.

Silent Oscillation® System – thanks to the special assembly and guiding of the shaft lifting gears, Daiwa engineers have achieved a significant smoothing of the transmission compared to conventional systems with similar designs. Slow Cross Wrap® – is a special cross-wise line lay technology on the spool. This technology significantly reduces line tangles around the shaft. Additionally, the unique winding means that more coils are taken onto the spool, resulting in extreme casting distances.

Tough DigiGear® – digitally developed gear system designed to withstand high pulling forces. The pinion integrated into the spool housing transmits the handle power directly to the rotor, smoothly and very efficiently. The size of the drive gear, strength and angle of the gears, as well as the shape and surface of the gear teeth allow the construction of gearboxes with exceptional smoothness, minimal resistance during use, and an extremely long lifespan.

Twist Buster® II – a sophisticated system (patent number EP0876760B1) that reduces line twist to a minimum. The latest Twist Buster II system significantly reduces friction between the line and the roller, preventing breakage.

Infinite Anti-Reverse® – a roller bearing that allows rotor rotation in only one direction. Only the highest quality steel parts with the tightest tolerances are used here.
