The new Certate G LT reels feature an aluminum "Monocoque Body" frame and an elegant "Concept LT" (Light & Tough) design that gives each component a lightweight feel. The idea behind Daiwa Japan's engineering was to design the best and most precise reel on the market by breaking the compromises between low weight and long-lasting durability.

"Monocoque Body" - The Monohull structure has an aluminum frame designed to resist twisting and bending while refining and optimizing internal space for the pinion and gears. With space savings, the gearing system size relative to the frame volume has been extended to technical limits, allowing the rotor to now occupy 85% of the total Monohull frame space. This technology optimizes the advantages of Concept LT in terms of weight reduction and strength. The Certate LT 2019 adopts a high-precision machined aluminum body for increased durability.

"Tough Digigear" - This gear machining technology offers enhanced and enduring smoothness. As soon as the handle is pressed with the lightest touch, the rotor begins to rotate. The "Tough Digigear" drive gear is designed through cold forging and high-precision CNC cutting. This engineering ensures an infinitely silent rotation.

"MagSealed Technology" - Rotor sealing is a challenge that Daiwa has been able to meet since 2010 and optimize year after year. To seal the rotor inside the housing, the seal is made from a magnetic oil called MagSealed. This oil is frozen in a magnetic field and prevents water and dust from entering the mechanism. The Certate LT 2019 has a one-piece structure, with no welding or flanging, providing high durability. This is why MagSealed is additionally placed on both the pinion and the pick-up, giving them resistance against water corrosion.

NOTE: The Certate G LT 2019 sizes that have the letter D in the product code are sold with a "Deep" spool, while sizes that have the letter C in the product code are sold with a "Compact" spool (wide - high storage capacity).
