The Daiwa 24 Certate SW reel is designed for saltwater fishing, combining increased durability with easy and precise use. The Zaion material Airdrive design allows for a lighter rotor, reducing inertia and enhancing sensitivity during fishing. The Airdrive pick-up arm, with a hollow and newly designed construction, prevents line tangling and ensures easy operation even in strong wind conditions.

The Airdrive Shaft system reduces the contact surface with the pinion, providing smooth and effortless rotation. The CNC-machined Tough Digigear features oversized teeth, easily withstanding the high pressures characteristic of saltwater fishing. The MQ construction on the aluminum body offers torsion resistance and efficient power transmission, while the Magsealed technology applied to the roller and main shaft prevents saltwater and dust ingress, significantly reducing corrosion and extending the reel's lifespan.

The ATD braking system, with carbon washers, offers optimal control and durability even under the heaviest loads. The Airdrive ABS longcast spool allows for long-distance casting, and the Twist Buster III roller prevents line twisting during use. The reel is equipped with a round knob EVA handle, providing enhanced comfort during operation. This reel is suitable for both freshwater species like pike, using heavy lures, as well as saltwater fishing.
