Rapala CrushCity Freeloader is a minnow-profile shad with a slim tail, designed for versatile presentations and for use as a trailer on spinnerbaits, vibrating jigs or scroungers. Rings on the tail section produce a subtle, quick action, allowing the lure to react to impulses imparted during the retrieve.

The body features hook slots on the belly and back that facilitate straight rigging and allow the hook point to be concealed. The Freeloader can be nose-mounted, rigged on an unweighted offset hook or a weighted belly hook, and can be used as a soft jerkbait. Construction uses Smart Injection Technology, which integrates color, flakes, salt and scent in a controlled way into the bait material.
