The Cormoran Big Cat 5PIF 8000 is a powerful reel specially designed for catfish fishing. The reel is built around a robust graphite body, corrosion resistant, with internal mechanisms driven by 4 (3+1) sealed bearings that ensure smoothness and flawless operation. The deep CNC-machined spool made from a single piece of anodized aluminum is equipped with a round metal line clip for securing the line.

The reel features the "X-Wind Cross Wrap" technology operated by the S-Stroke system, responsible for the uniform layering of the line on the spool, thus allowing extraordinarily long casting distances. The Infinite Anti-Reverse system, anti-twist roller preventing line twist, multi-disc front drag (oil-impregnated felt washers + metal discs), and metal handle equipped with a TPE knob button complete the reel’s features.
