The Colmic Altair is a reel dedicated to still fishing, regardless of the technique used. It features an aluminum body and spool, with the bottom part protected by impact-resistant graphite caps. A very robust assembly capable of handling any pressure. It is equipped with 9 bearings, including one dedicated to the infinite anti-reverse, made of stainless steel with anti-corrosion shielding, and a high-quality micrometric drag.

The Knurling system at the base of the spool is very useful in preventing any slippage of braided lines on the spool.  The Colmic Altair's braking system is remarkable and extremely efficient. This brake precision offers the angler the ability to adapt to the level of difficulty encountered during the fight.

Also, the reel features the Screw-in Handle System, meaning the handle with a soft knob is screwed directly into the drive gear, preventing any instability and reinforcing its retrieval strength.
