Kryston Synx Stiff Coated Braid, Dark Silt, 20m

Synx Stiff Coated Braid is a coated braided line specially designed for rig tying. It combines high-quality braided fibers with high strength at small diameters, featuring a multilayer polymer coating (no less than 30 different layers form the plastic sheath of the line) that is very resistant to abrasion and mechanical shocks.

A common drawback of coated lines is that the protective coating fails at the knot, reducing rig mechanics and strength. Synx Coated Braid allows anglers to use a wide variety of knots without worrying about quick deterioration of the plastic sheath. The line has increased knot strength and abrasion resistance.

The inner braided line is supple and tightly textured to prevent fiber snagging. With Synx, you can tie any established modern carp rigs, from chod rigs to combi rigs, or even supple rigs if you completely remove the coating. The outer plastic sheath is fairly stiff, but the line straightens easily by passing it through your hand several times. No steaming treatment is required.
