Climax Cult Fluorocarbon Snag Leader is a fluorocarbon line with a soft and silky texture, characterized by increased abrasion resistance and knot strength. This line is recommended for use as a "leader" or for tying hooks on rigid or combi rigs. Being a pure fluorocarbon with the same light refraction index as water, it is practically invisible. Its specific gravity makes it denser than water, so it sinks quickly to the bottom.

Now even softer, with more stretch, Climax Cult Chimera Mono Soft Fluorocarbon is an excellent type of hook or leader material, especially for carp in clear water. For maximum strength, we recommend tying the swivel to the leader with a grinner (or palomar) knot, and the hook to the rig with the well-known "knotless knot."
