Climax Cult Chimera Mono Soft Fluorocarbon is a fluorocarbon line with a soft and silky texture, characterized by enhanced abrasion resistance and knot strength. This line is recommended for use as a leader or for tying hooks on rigid or hybrid rigs. Being a pure fluorocarbon with the same light refraction index as water, it is practically invisible. Its specific weight makes it denser than water, so it sinks quickly to the bottom.

Now even softer, with more stretch, Climax Cult Chimera Mono Soft Fluorocarbon is an excellent hook or leader material, especially for carp in clear water. For maximum strength, we recommend tying the swivel to the leader with a grinner (or palomar) knot, and the hook to the rig with the well-known "no-knot knot".
