Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

Challenger Shorts are made with breathable vented panels and quick-drying stretch fabric for all-day comfort and performance. These athletic-fit fishing shorts are specially designed with a cotton, polyester, and spandex blend for durability and enhanced comfort. The material is soft, stretchy, and stain-resistant thanks to the DWR hydrophobic treatment applied on the exterior. They feature two hand pockets in front and back, a zippered pocket on the right thigh, and a rear pocket on the left thigh for pliers or phone.
