The Sattelite 301 bite alarms set from Carp Zoom features an elegant and innovative design, made from impact and abrasion-resistant ABS, a material that protects the signal from mechanical damage. The set is 100% waterproof, and the alarms are powered by 9V batteries (not included), ensuring a long lifespan. The receiver is powered by 3x AAA batteries. Besides the long operating time, one of the biggest advantages of this set is the range – up to 200 meters depending on environmental conditions. The receiver has volume control, including a silent vibration mode.

The alarms' illumination is provided by LEDs that can flash intermittently in different colors. An ambient light sensor is also included, which activates the energy-saving positioning LED (Night Positioning Light) and the snag bar (anti-drop guard).
