Varivas PE 4 Blue Edition is a braided line made of 4 strands of next-generation PE fibers, suitable for a wide range of predator fishing techniques. The line features an SP-F (Super Fluorine Coating) protective layer that prevents damage over time caused by saltwater absorption. It is especially recommended where the line is constantly twisted under the lure's action.

Varivas PE 4 Blue Edition is characterized by high sensitivity and low elongation, ensuring that every lure movement is transmitted instantly. To prevent line tangling during casting, the line has been carefully processed, reducing existing stresses by using the Break Resistance Method braiding technology (a PE fiber braiding technique that provides enhanced line strength). With approximately three times the strength of monofilament or fluorocarbon lines, it clearly demonstrates its qualities when battling sizable fish.

NOTE: The PE rating comes from the Japanese numbering system and is used to measure the silk line diameter (the diameter in millimeters is an approximate conversion from the Japanese numbering system, e.g., #0.4 = 0.10mm). The PE rating measures the line’s diameter and does not represent breaking strength.
