As compact as a classic daytime binocular, the Merger LRF XQ35 is ideal for stalking hunting. The balanced weight distribution ensures comfortable viewing without hand fatigue during extended observation periods. The six buttons are conveniently placed to provide quick access to the most frequently used functions. The interpupillary distance on the Merger LRF binocular is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm to fit the individual characteristics of any user.

The Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with a high-sensitivity Lynred sensor < 25 mK NETD, European-made, which captures a high-quality useful signal in challenging observation conditions when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during rain, fog, and high humidity at the observation spot.

Use brightness and contrast adjustments to maximize image detail and informational value under specific observation conditions. The User Mode function saves the selected brightness and contrast settings in the device’s memory, providing optimal image quality for the next use of the thermal camera immediately, without the need for additional adjustments.

Observing in the dark requires staying concealed so that the hunted animals do not become alerted to your presence. Switching to standby using the Display Off function is a common way to prevent eyepiece backlighting. To simplify this task, the Merger LRF has a built-in proximity sensor. It acts as a display switch to prevent exposure to backlight in the dark. When the unit is moved away from the eye, the proximity sensor turns off both displays, and when the unit is close, both displays turn on, providing excellent image quality.

The Merger LRF is designed for constant use in extreme conditions. A magnesium alloy housing is lightweight and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of the thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. At the same time, the metal casing efficiently dissipates heat from the electronics and increases operational consistency during long-term observation.

The Merger LRF is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, and one replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees up to 11 hours of autonomy. Engraving on the replaceable battery body for precise positioning makes it possible to quickly and confidently replace a discharged battery with a new one even in complete darkness.

Understanding the target distance is a key factor in making the right decisions. The built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances in single measurements and continuous scan modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for a quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

The IPX7 protection rating makes the device water-resistant for protection against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The unit is designed to operate flawlessly even after immersion in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

While the HD AMOLED display provides a clear, high-contrast field of view with vivid colors, AMOLED technology ensures a flawless, smooth, high-resolution image while saving energy.

The built-in WiFi connects the Merger LRF to Android and iOS smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile app. This opens up a wide range of options, including device software updates, real-time streaming of images from the device to the smartphone screen, publishing captured photo and video content on social media, remote device control, and access to the latest Pulsar news.

A range of 8 color palettes allows optimizing the unit for specific tasks. White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are optimal for object detection; Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the chances of recognition and identification. Monochrome Red, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for extended night-time observation.
