The new generation of critically balanced baits has the great advantage of keeping the hook on the substrate, with neutral buoyancy, which has proven to be extremely effective compared to highly buoyant baits. Although they resemble boilies or pop-ups, these baits have nothing to do with the composition of the mentioned types. The material is flexible, slightly fluffy, and retains its flavour throughout the entire density – the main weapon for attracting fish. This is also why they cannot be classified as boilies, pellets, or floating baits in general.

The flexibility of the material also dictates the use in combination with bait spikes (Bait Sting). At first glance, you will notice that these baits have a high moisture content, given by the flavour impregnated throughout the material mass. Essentially, unlike pellets, pop-ups, or boilies, these have a much longer lifespan precisely due to this advantage.
