The Simms Neck Gaiter is a bandana made from a special fabric enhanced with the latest weaving technology, allowing it to stretch in multiple directions. It has no seams that irritate the skin and offers excellent breathability and moisture control. The fabric provides UPF 50 protection and covers from the tip of the nose to the collar of the shirt, with enough height in the back to fit over or under your favorite fishing hat.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UV radiation from the sun is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 allows only 1/50 of the sun’s UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All Simms UPF finishes last the lifetime of the garment.
