The Shimano SpeedMaster II is a multiplier with a lever drag and a 2-Speed system, designed for high-speed retrieval and strong power in low gear. The compact, rigid HAGANE Body aluminum housing prevents deformation and keeps internal gearing precisely aligned. The stainless steel gears are supported by Shielded S A-RB bearings for smooth operation and corrosion resistance.

The braking system is controlled by an easy-to-operate lever drag with a safety click. The reel also includes an additional lever drag optimized for use with monofilament line, providing a smoother drag curve for pelagic fishing. E.I. surface treatment enhances corrosion resistance in the marine environment.
