Since the invention of the SPOMB, classic bait rocket fishing has become a thing of the past. Its excellent aerodynamics help anglers achieve baiting distances that are hard to match even with lead and rig setups. The innovation of the SPOMB lies in its bait loading method. The bait is enclosed inside the rocket, allowing anglers to use any type of bait, from seeds to live bait. The design has been improved over classic Spomb models, making it suitable for extreme casting distances.

The X model has a unique shape, designed for maximum weight on the front, a crucial feature for long-distance casts. The ideal weight for force casts at distance: 5 – 5.5 oz (142g - 155g depending on the type of bait loaded). The bait rocket floats thanks to the high-density foam inserted inside the plastic body by Spomb specialists. The buoyancy of the new model eliminates the need to use dedicated floats, significantly improving aerodynamic properties. The manufacturer recommends using only rods dedicated to Spomb or Spod for bait rocket fishing and using a strong leader (braided or monofilament) to reduce the risk of breakage during casting.

Instructions for use:

• 1. Attach the rocket swivel to the bait rod leader;
• 2. Hold the rocket horizontally, with the Spomb logo facing up;
• 3. Press the red button at the tip of the rocket, and it will open;
• 4. Fill the lower cavity with bait. (WARNING: Do not put bait in the compartment of the mechanism that triggers the rocket opening);
• 5. Close the rocket. A clicking sound will confirm it’s closed. Do not force the rocket closed if you have put in too much bait!;
• 6. Cast the rocket with a smooth motion at approximately a 45-degree angle to the water surface;
• 7. Upon impact with the water, the rocket will open, releasing the bait. If it does not open, after retrieving it, turn the red button inside the tip of the rocket. Depending on this adjustment, the rocket will open harder or easier upon water impact.
