Avid Carp Ex-Cast is a compact, lightweight big pit reel designed for the modern demands of carp fishing. The quick front drag system allows switching from locked to free in less than half a turn. The cold-forged, double-anodized aluminum spool features a line-friendly clip. The machined aluminum handle with a soft-touch knob offers excellent comfort and control.

Construction includes a stainless steel main shaft, 5+1 stainless steel bearings, 4.6:1 gear ratio, rotor lock on the pick-up arm, oversized anti-twist roller, graphite body and side cover, reinforced hollow rotor and instant anti-reverse system.
