Berkley Gulp! Saltwater Sand Sardine is a soft bait designed for finesse-style saltwater fishing, developed by combining the features of the Baby Sardine and Sandworm models. The slender body is complemented by a long tail and fine side appendages that generate vibrations and subtle movements during slow retrieves.

The side appendages interact with the water and increase retrieval resistance, allowing the bait to be presented at reduced speeds. The slim profile retains enough material in the central area for secure jighead rigging, making it suitable for targeting saltwater species that feed on small prey.

The Gulp! material is made from a water-soluble polymer and incorporates Berkley scent and flavor attractants. The formula enables continuous release of attractants into the water, complementing the visual cues and vibrations produced by the bait body.
