The HMKL Shad 65MR Suspending is a floating lure, highly versatile and favored by most anglers. It is one of the most advanced Japanese lures, featuring a long cast magnetic system. It can be activated with continuous retrieval or slow or aggressive jerking; in both cases, pauses can trigger predator strikes. The lure has a fine vibration, allowing it to be retrieved very slowly or very quickly, maintaining excellent stability in strong water currents.

The long cast system allows for very long casts using both spinning and casting gear. It comes equipped with a lip that allows diving to a maximum depth of 3m.
