Ricky the Roach is a multi-jointed hybrid lure that can dive into the water column between 0.1m and 0.5m during retrieves. Thanks to its hard ABS body shape and weight, this lure achieves considerable casting distances. The articulated body construction combined with the two soft rubber fins develops a natural movement during retrieves, whether they are slow or more agile.

The vibrations and sounds produced by the three segmented parts of the body trigger strikes from predatory fish. For optimal performance, linear retrieves with pauses as well as speed variations are recommended to provoke predator attacks.

For added attraction, hand-applied coloration has been used, and the high-quality materials and durable paint provide enhanced resistance against repeated bites. Ricky the Roach features realistic eyes, two #2 Japanese carbon steel hooks, and a stainless steel split ring for attaching leaders. The Westin Ricky the Roach Hybrid is effectively used for fishing pike, catfish, and bass.
