Salmo Slider was introduced many years ago and has become legendary among predator anglers. It's no surprise that this lure has broken numerous personal records for fishermen (both beginners and competitors). The launch of the Slider lures marked a new high quality level in the world of artificial baits. Retrieving this lure is very easy; any retrieval technique is effective, and the lure’s movement will resemble that of a wounded prey fish. The colder the water, the longer each pause should be after each move (even up to 3 seconds).

It is recommended for pike, zander, perch, and catfish fishing. Typically, the Slider is fished with a series of regular, sharp, and aggressive rod jerks, while the retrieval should be fast. Before using this lure, it’s advisable to cast it a few times in clear water to observe its behavior and improve your technique. The Slider is effective for trolling, dragged behind the boat between 10m and 30m, jerking it just as you would when casting, every few seconds.

NOTE: Floating versions are highly recommended during the warm season when vegetation is dense and the water column is very shallow, while sinking models are preferred in areas with less vegetation or deeper waters.
