The pocket knife blade is made of 420 stainless steel, a martensitic steel alloy with a high content of carbon (C), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), and vanadium (V), offering excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, cutting resistance, and high hardness, mainly used for kitchen knives. Due to the heat treatment this steel undergoes, it has a Rockwell hardness of 50 HRC. The handle is made from high-quality anodised aluminium mainly used in the aerospace industry. Anodising is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. Anodising increases corrosion and wear resistance of the aluminium alloy and ensures better adhesion of paint primers applied over it, resulting in a much better grip in use. It has a clip at the end of the handle by which it can be attached to keys.
