Minn Kota Riptide PowerDrive 55 MR is a bow-mount electric motor designed for saltwater fishing. The motor delivers 55lbs of thrust, runs on 12V and features a long composite shaft measuring 165cm.

The 165cm shaft allows use on boats with higher bows where the propulsion unit needs to be positioned at the proper depth. The Riptide construction is designed for the marine environment and features corrosion protection.

The built-in GPS system enables control of the boat's position and movement. Spot-Lock automatically holds the boat at a set location, AutoPilot maintains heading, and Drift Mode helps control the boat while drift fishing.

The MR variant is fitted with Micro Remote, a compact remote that controls the motor's main functions. The system can also be controlled via the One-Boat Network app and can be connected to compatible Humminbird units.

Digital Maximizer technology manages power consumption according to the speed used, helping to optimize battery run-time. Speed is continuously variable, allowing propulsion to be adjusted to conditions encountered while fishing.

The motor comes with a Weedless Wedge 2 propeller, designed to move through areas with aquatic vegetation. This variant does not include an integrated sonar transducer.
