The Master Long Cast is a reel with a robust construction that remains relatively lightweight, even in larger sizes, weighing only 534 grams. One of its remarkable features is the fast precision drag, completely dust and moisture resistant, which can be nearly locked with just a half turn. When fishing at long distances, if the drag is not fully tightened, the line can slip during a powerful cast, which may cause severe finger injuries. The chances of this happening can be completely eliminated with a quick movement. The dust-protected drag works flawlessly and distributes the line precisely regardless of the drag’s position. Additionally, the rotor drag – crucial for distance casting reels – locks the rotor from spinning when the pick-up is lifted, preventing the pick-up arm from accidentally turning during the cast. The compact, sleek red and black body has a medium retrieve ratio of 4.6:1. Its 6+1 bearings are flattened for smooth and effortless operation. To achieve precise line lay, the spool lifts very slowly, rising and lowering just once during 9 crank rotations. The large 69mm diameter aluminum spool allows for fast line retrieval, and thanks to its specially designed lip for long-distance casting, the line flows out quickly with much less resistance.
