The DF2.5L model boasts a wide range of features that one wouldn’t expect from such a compact motor. Among its features, some of the most important include: F-N gearshift, water cooling system, and a one-liter fuel tank. The DF2.5L is the smallest 4-stroke outboard model from Suzuki. Weighing just 14kg, it is the lightest model while still meeting the most rigorous emission standards.

Equipped with a large transport handle, the motor is easy to lift and place where needed, and the four tilt positions ensure that the motor can be mounted according to the boat’s requirements. The 2.5HP single-cylinder 4-stroke DF2.5 generates enough power for all small boats (it can also be used as a backup motor for larger vessels).

NOTE: Undermotorizing a boat should be avoided, as it will cause the engine to over-rev, ultimately leading to premature wear of parts and increased fuel consumption. Overmotorizing a boat can create difficulties in maneuvering the boat and lead to high consumption and expenses (consumables, parts, etc.).
