Simms was founded in 1980 by a visionary angler and longtime guide, John Simms. The West Fork Jacket is designed to provide the necessary warmth during outdoor excursions when the weather turns foul. The upper part is made with PrimaLoft Gold Insulation featuring Cross Core technology. The lower part has seamless quilting filled with PrimaLoft Silver Thermoplume insulation equipped with Cross Core technology. Essential storage comes in the form of zippered hand and chest pockets. The elastic cuffs have been carefully designed along with the Pertex Quantum Pro upper jacket for extra protection against water penetration. The best insulation from Simms: PrimaLoft® Cross Core Gold - 170; Pertex® Quantum Pro - 100% nylon; Lower part: Toray 100% polyester 30d pre-fabricated w/C6 DWR; PrimaLoft® Cross Core Gold insulation - 185 gsm fill power; lining: 100% polyester.
