The Cooling Hoody features technologies designed for sun protection, while also offering low thermal comfort during the hottest periods of the year, providing excellent protection for the head area. This men's shirt has quick-drying COR3™ fabric to fight odors and wick away moisture, keeping you dry throughout your fishing trip. It is rated UPF 50 for sun protection, and the arms and shoulders are constructed for comfort and natural movement.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UV radiation from the sun is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 50 allows only 1/50th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All UPF finishes by Simms last for the lifetime of the garment.
