Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and long-time guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on some of the world’s most majestic rivers, John realized the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the demands needed to keep top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

For warm days on the water, the Breeze Tunic lets you enjoy outdoor activities without interruption. The advanced cooling fabric is complemented by high stretch, ensuring excellent freedom of movement. The shirt features UPF50 protection and a specially designed hood that shields you from UV rays while keeping you comfortable.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UV radiation from the sun is absorbed. A fabric with a rating of 30 allows only 1/30th of the sun's UV rays to pass through. This means the fabric significantly reduces skin exposure to UV radiation. All UPF finishes from Simms last the lifetime of the garment.
