The Simms company was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on some of the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the needs to keep the best anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer in any weather.

The Rogue Hoody is part of Simms' portfolio and is made from DWR-treated softshell materials, meaning waterproofness is one of its key features. Additionally, the interior is made from soft fleece to ensure thermal comfort on cool mornings. Simms designed this piece with three pockets: one chest pocket with a zipper and two designed for warming hands. Other notable features include elastic cuffs, waterproof YKK zippers, and an adjustable waterproof hood.
