The Simms company was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and long-time guide John Simms. After spending decades providing customers with life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the demands of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay longer in any weather.

The ProDry Jacket is part of Simms' lineup and is made from GORE-TEX, meaning waterproofing is its main strength. Simms designed this jacket with five pockets: two chest pockets with zippers, two hand-warmer pockets with zippers, and one interior pocket. Other notable features include waterproof YKK zippers, elastic Cohaesive™ cuff system, and a 3-point adjustable waterproof hood.
