Simms was founded in 1980 by visionary angler and longtime guide John Simms. After spending decades providing clients with life-changing experiences on the most majestic rivers in the world, John realized that the waterproof gear available at the time didn’t meet the demands of keeping top anglers dry, comfortable, and safe on the water. So, he set out to create products worthy of a new generation of anglers who, like him, wanted to get on the water earlier and stay out longer no matter the weather.

The Pro Dry Gore-Tex Jacket is a lightweight, waterproof jacket designed to keep you comfortable in harsh conditions. Featuring a Gore-Tex membrane, it allows anglers to fish without concern even in bad weather. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps the jacket lightweight while providing total waterproof protection. Fleece-lined pockets keep your hands at optimal temperatures, maintaining comfort during outdoor activities. The adjustable hood can be cinched at the collar. Additionally, the jacket is made with ripstop fabric to prevent snagging on branches and underbrush.
